Program Management
The management of the program is carried out by the Coordinator and Deputy Coordinator, but major decisions are made by a Collegiate body (composed of professors and student representatives), which decides on the main actions and regulations of the program. In addition to the Collegiate, there is another group called the NDE (Structuring Teaching Nucleus), which is responsible for updating and adjusting the curriculum, for example, by adding or removing courses to align with labor market trends.
Student requests at the academic office are recorded in the SPA system (Administrative Process System) as formal processes, and can be tracked at: https://solar.egestao.ufsc.br/atendimento/. The system indicates which UFSC department is currently handling the request. The SPA process number can be obtained directly from the academic office.
