Program Management
The Automotive Engineering program is managed by a Coordinator and Deputy Coordinator, but the main decisions are taken by a Council made up of faculty members and student representatives, who decide the main actions and rules for the program. In addition to the Council, there is another group called the NDE – Núcleo Docente Estruturante, which is responsible for updating and adjusting the program structure, such as including or excluding courses, following the trends of the labor market.
Student requests at the academic office are recorded in the SPA system (Administrative Process System) as processes and can be accessed at https://solar.egestao.ufsc.br/atendimento/. The inquiry will indicate which UFSC department is handling the process. The SPA number can be obtained directly from the academic office.
