Program Management
The Automotive Engineering program is managed by a Coordinator and Deputy Coordinator, but the main decisions are taken by a Council made up of faculty members and student representatives, who decide the main actions and rules for the program. In addition to the Council, there is another group called the NDE – Núcleo Docente Estruturante, which is responsible for updating and adjusting the program structure, such as including or excluding courses, following the trends of the labor market.

According to NORMATIVE ORDINANCE No. 497/2024/GR, dated December 4, 2024, the summer schedule for faculty and technical-administrative staff in education at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) is established from December 23, 2024, to February 28, 2025. In Joinville, working hours will take place in the morning shift, from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
